Story

Booboisie Village is a non-linear narrative strategy game focused on political manipulation and social control.
Players assume the role of Clay Gray, a mysterious figure capable of influencing village votes and shifting the future through policy choices and population control. Every decision impacts the village’s structure, relationships, and eventual fate—across 12 possible endings.

Features

  • Dual-phase gameplay: Dialogue-based political alignment and post-decision villager control.

  • Influence mechanics: Use items to alter villager votes—or remove them entirely.

  • Flexible outcomes: Your dialogue choices set an initial course, but voting interference can reverse alliances.

  • State tracking system: All player actions influence village status, visible after each vote round and at the game’s ending.

  • Built in Unity, with custom interaction flow, branching dialogue logic, and multi-ending event triggers.

  • The protagonist’s position evolves dynamically, shaped by both systemic actions and political alignment shifts.

  • Current prototype includes 12 endings and a full decision-feedback loop. Future expansion may involve new characters, political archetypes, and deeper influence systems.

  • The game is currently conceptual; commercial publishing remains open for discussion.
